Hi! I’m Kendra.
I am driven by my deep-rooted passion for the healing arts, the wonders of nature, and the well-being of all people. My purpose revolves around fostering health and vitality through personalized care, rooted in permaculture principles and a profound connection with the natural world.
In my past life, I immersed myself in the corporate world, meticulously managing extensive client databases and crafting bespoke plans for their most significant life endeavors. I took true pleasure in walking alongside my clients through their most intimate life landmarks and thrived inspiring fellow professionals throughout various goal-setting workshops, team building activities, and spearheading meaningful community initiatives through volunteering and fundraising.
Despite my noble initiatives I often struggled to feel as though I “fit” in, wondering when and where I would find my sense of purpose. Every day took an incredible amount of effort to survive, endlessly counting days until I could unbind myself from the teather of late-night crisis phone calls or after-hour contracts. I felt stuck in the corporate matrix, worked to the bone, miserable and on the verge of burn-out.
I became dedicated to the conscious and unconscious untangling of my own life. I found solace in my personal practices, reclaiming ritual and curating the deep sense of connection I yearned for. I leaned into the fear, the suffering, the grief - recognizing each experience as an opportunity of exploration towards a more profound relationship with myself and others. I began to uncover the lost layers of myself and quickly found a heartfelt reverence and embodied sense of compassion and gratitude for all life.
The sudden severe illness of a parent was enough to tip me over the edge towards making the change I so desperately needed, and the experience of this courageous shift along with caregiving for my family during a time of intimate struggle and grief brought forth invaluable lessons in suffering, acceptance, impermanence. I immersed myself in the experience, in Dharma, determined to uncover my own middle path within it all.
That inner voice ..
A resounding inner calling towards a path of deeper significance and purpose.
I took THE leap.
It began with a dream of community connections with like-minded individuals, abundant clean water and healthy living soil systems. The transition landed me on a sweet slice of heaven on earth in British Columbia where I felt a clear call to settle in with people on a more personal level, to be of service and to help improve every day life.
Health transcends mere absence of illness; it embodies an entire state of well-being.
I recognize and honour the unique expressions of the human experience, viewing it as an intricate tapestry of artistry. Attuned to the interconnectedness of natural systems, it brings me joy to help people foster harmonious relationships with themselves, each other, and the natural world. My focus encourages sustainable practices that nurture resilience and kindle vibrant connections, internally and externally.
Empowered with a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I serve as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Acupuncturist, and Herbalist in Nelson, BC. I have extra education in sports medicine, herbal therapies, post-concussion care.

While my true home resides in a state of mind, I currently find solace nestled within the serene landscapes of Nelson, B.C. Embracing nature’s wisdom, I prioritize cultivating a strong relationship with the natural world. You'll often find me barefoot amongst my winged, furred and feathered friends dedicating myself to steward our small-scale permaculture farm, tending to the intricacies of complex surrounding ecosystems. Immersed in the wonders of a sustainable off-grid lifestyle, I enjoy the trial and error processes that expand my knowledge and experience in these areas. Exploring glacier lakes amongst alpines and conquering majestic peaks of the Kootenay & Rocky regions are some of my favorite ways to invest my time. Nature provides inspiration, tranquility, and a sense of grounding that fuels my passion for permaculture, sustainability, and simple harmonious living.
I look forward to the opportunity to connect and collaborate with you as a dedicated advocate for your health and well-being.
