Contraindications

  • Active Acne

  • Pregnancy - Can Nano, but must use caution with products such as Hyalauraunic Acid (HA).

  • Local infections such as warts or herpes zoster

  • Moderate to severe skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis

  • Blood dyecrasia, people on anticoagulant therapies, including high doses of cumadin.

  • Kelodial tendencies

  • People on chemo / radiation

Considering Microneedling? Avoid the following :

  • No use of accurate or isotretinoin within last 6 months

  • No retinoids, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, hydroquinone, sunburn, and benzoyl peroxide (72 hours prior)

  • Vitamin C serums

  • No IPL / Laser procedures 7 days pre-treatment

  • No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis treatments 7 days prior to treatment

  • No shaving on day of procedure

  • No significant changes in the skin, including breakdown of skin, excess dryness or sunburn

  • If you have a history of cold sores, please notify your practitioner prior to your treatment - you may need to consider anti-viral treatment prior to microneedling
